Return & Refund Policy

At The Grinning Duck, each item is made with care, and many of our products are personalized, customized, or made-to-order specifically for each customer.

Because of the custom nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has started, unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or there was an error with your order.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.

Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging, if the item arrived damaged

Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.

Personalized and Custom Items

Personalized, engraved, printed, or custom-made items are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Please review all personalization details carefully before placing your order, including names, dates, spelling, uploaded images, design selections, and any custom text.

Customer-Provided Information

The Grinning Duck is not responsible for customer errors such as misspellings, incorrect dates, incorrect names, low-quality uploaded images, or inaccurate customization details submitted at checkout.

If we notice a possible issue before production begins, we may contact you for clarification. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all submitted information is accurate.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only if production has not yet started. Once an item has entered design, engraving, printing, cutting, or production, the order can no longer be cancelled.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Return Shipping

If a return is approved due to damage, defect, or our error, we will provide instructions for the return or replacement process.

If a return is approved for any other reason, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
